Wesley So - Ding Liren 1/2. The Italian Game. Wesley had a small advantage. But 41.Rxb3! was better.

Round 5, game 2: Maxime Vachier-Lagrave - Peter Svidler 1/2, 1-1, tiebreak. The Italian Game. 20.Qd2 and 20.Nxg7 were interesting.
Wesley So - Vladimir Fedoseev 1-0, 1.5-0.5. The Russian Game. 21...g5? and 23...Be7? were mistakes, Vladimir weakened the kingside, so Wesley attacked with 24.h4! and obtained a clear advantage in the endgame.
Ding Liren - Richard Rapport 1-0, 1.5-0.5. The Queen's Indian Defence. Liren grabbed a pawn and won.
Vassily Ivanchuk - Levon Aronian 1/2, 0.5-1.5. The English Opening. Levon equalized.

Round 4, game 1: Svidler-Bu 1/2. Vachier-Lagrave - Grischuk 1/2, Maxime had an extra pawn in the rook endgame. So-Jobava 1/2. Rodshtein lost to Fedoseev in 41 moves. Ivanchuk beat Giri also in 41 moves.

Round 3, game 1: Carlsen lost to Bu Xiangzhi, the Bishop's Opening, Xiangzhi sacrificed the bishop 15...Bxh3, and Magnus made a mistake, 21.Bxd5?, so Bu stormed with 23...g5! and won. Aronian beat Matlakov. Vallejo Pons lost to So. Rodshtein-Kovalyov 1-0 (Anton Kovalyov wrote about all on Facebook).

Round 2, game 1: Dreev-Carlsen 0-1, Magnus obtained a small edge in the Ragozin Defence with 16...d4!, grabbed two pawns and won. Anand lost to Kovalyov in the Sicilian Defence after the risky knight sacrifice in the endgame. Hou Yifan drew with Aronian. Many games quickly ended in draws.
