Round 7: Giri played the Dutch Defence vs Jakovenko like the game Radjabov-Ivanchuk, 2013, White had a small advantage, 16.Qd2?! is a novelty, Black could have played 16...f4! with equality, the endgame was drawish, but Anish made a mistake, 46...Ra2+? and lost, 46...Nf3= was better. Mamedyarov had a clear edge vs Grischuk and won. Jobava beat Dominguez. Kasimdzhanov-Radjabov 1/2, a draw.
