The FIDE World Chess Grand Prix 2014 Tashkent tournament took place in Uzbekistan 20th October - 2nd November. Free Days 25th and 30th October.
1. Dmitry Andreikin - 7, 2-3. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Hikaru Nakamura - 6.5, 4-7. Baadur Jobava, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Sergey Karjakin, Fabiano Caruana - 6, 8. Teimour Radjabov - 5.5, 9. Anish Giri - 5, 10. Dmitri Jakovenko - 4.5, 11-12. Rustam Kasimdzhanov, Boris Gelfand - 3.5.

In round 5 Jakovenko grabbed a pawn vs Vachier-Lagrave, in the endgame sacrificed the exchange and won. Jobava attacked on the kingside and beat Karjakin in 31 moves. Nakamura outplayed Gelfand in the ending with an extra pawn, 97 moves.
