9th World Computer Chess Championship 1999

The 9th World Computer Chess Championship 1999 took place 14 - 20 June 1999 in Paderborn, Germany. 30 programs were participated in 7-rounds Swiss.
Stefan Meyer-Kahlen's program Shredder (Germany) became the World Microcomputer Champion. Shredder and Ferret (programmer Bruce Moreland, USA) both scored 5,5 points, but on coefficient Shredder became the champion. The additional game between the winners finished in a draw.
